IT’S BETTER TO BE LATE THAN NEVER..! ARE MONDAYS BAD?

MONDAY BLUES! For many people, the impact of Monday blues begins as early as Sunday evening. They find themselves checking their mobile phones or clocks every half hour, taking deep breaths, convinced that they still have hours before going to bed. They wish Sundays would never end. Some may distract themselves with activities that provide an instant dopamine hit, trying to ignore the reality that the next six days will feel like an exhausting trap.

IMAGINE! You are all alone on a Sunday, suffocating within four walls, with your mobile phone as your only companion. You feel overwhelmed by the pile of pending work on your desk and frequently picture your boss’s face. On top of that, fears about the future add to your anxiety. It’s clear—there’s no need for a red carpet to welcome our Monday blues.

On the positive side, we cannot overlook that Monday blues can serve as an opportunity for self-reflection. It might be a chance to reevaluate ourselves, a cue to change our working style, or an ideal moment to identify what’s missing in our careers. In fact, it could even signal a need to completely change our path or journey. However, this is a moment that requires analysis and improvement for our own happiness.

Happiness is the primary source of our existence. When happiness is absent, we risk experiencing not just Monday blues but blues on Tuesday, and so on. We all know there’s a significant difference between “Living” and “Surviving.” Surviving might indicate the presence of Monday blues. The changes we make today will determine whether we live happily or merely survive.

It’s certainly better to make changes late than never—that transition from Monday blues to a day of hope, joy, and support. Change is inevitable, and every change serves a purpose. Even if you haven’t noticed every small shift or its purpose, people continue to seize opportunities that come their way to brighten their lives. Some individuals have not only improved their own lives but also contributed to making the world a better place. Now is your time to bring about changes for your own happiness.

To begin with, implementing small changes in our lives isn’t that hard. Often, without even realizing it, we’ve already made plenty of small adjustments. From our morning routines, we’ve switched our brands of toothbrushes, toothpaste, and soaps from time to time. We’ve altered our tastes and choices in food, clothing, and entertainment as well. Even our aspirations have evolved—we’ve transitioned from wanting to be doctors to engineers, scientists, and more. Our social circles, plans, and goals have changed too.

It’s never too late to look back at the journey we’ve taken and the choices we’ve made to identify the continuity we might have missed in bringing together all the pieces necessary for our happiness.

Since childhood, we are often conditioned to become the ideal version of ourselves—“Mr. Perfect” or “Ms. Perfect.” In that process, we might forget to ask ourselves, “What do I really need?” and “What genuinely makes me happy?” These questions are deeply personal and can only be answered by those who seek them.

When someone begins to search for answers to these questions, they often start to ponder deeper inquiries: Where is my freedom? What is missing in my life? What is my purpose? Who am I in this crowd? What satisfies my soul and hunger? What makes me feel whole? The answers lie within those who desperately seek them.

These answers could involve your passions, being true to yourself, or feeling satisfied with your personal growth. Ultimately, no one can answer these personal questions better than you can. And remember, it is never too late to discover yourself and become your best version, allowing you to say, “Mondays are not that bad.”
