Why is cinema more than just entertainment now?

There is always a debate surrounding cinema. Some people say cinema is just entertainment—a way to unwind after a long day at work, spending quality time with family and friends. Others argue that cinema is more than just entertainment; it is life itself and has already made significant contributions to our society.

Regardless of whether we view cinema solely as entertainment, it has undeniably become a part of our lives.

CINEMA IS PERSONAL:

Cinema is an art form, much like any other, and although we can attempt to define it, the emotions it evokes are deeply personal. Perceptions of cinema differ from person to person, as people relate it to their own stories and carry those emotions throughout their lives.

CINEMA IS A PART OF OUR LIFE:

Have you ever asked yourself how a loved one became an integral part of your life? The feelings that arise from such questions are often indescribable; they can be understood only by you. Cinema has also reached that same status, becoming an integral part of our lives long ago.

Notably, cinema is one of the most beloved forms of entertainment in history. Beyond the business, profits, and money, it has become a life and passion for many. Moreover, in today’s world, it is nearly impossible to think of entertainment without considering cinema.

CINEMA IS MORE THAN ENTERTAINMENT:

Whenever I watch videos on social media about how to enhance and continue conversations with others, I often see suggested topics like children, climate, food, family, and more. Among these topics, cinema has long been a favorite subject of conversation between friends and family during gatherings.

Cinema has become a part of our celebrations. Interestingly, nowadays some companies even announce holidays for the release of major films. While some may find this practice irritating or unnecessary, but the joy and excitement surrounding these events are best understood by the fans only.

Cinema has not only given life to many but has also produced leaders within society. We can see various leaders all around the world evolved from cinema field. They own political parties and govern states and countries.

Cinema has been and continues to be a significant motivational factor in our lives. We can point to countless movies that serve as timeless classics, offering answers to everlasting questions. Some films even prompt us to analyze our lives and ask questions ourselves. Art, in its many forms, should inspire personal growth, and cinema excels at doing just that. The tremendous growth of cinema provides lessons and answers for many. It has become a thriving business that has given life to countless individuals.

HOW MY FRIENDSHIP BLOSSOMED:

My school and college years would not have been complete without discussions about cinema. My school was extremely religious, and we were told that talking about cinema was a sin. If I took that seriously, I would have been the biggest sinner. As an introvert, I typically kept to myself, but when it came to discussing cinema, I shattered that mold. Cinema made me feel comfortable when talking to others, allowing me to forge valuable friendships in both school and college. What began as gossip about movies from daily newspapers eventually evolved into deeper conversations about family, life, goals, and much more.

Like many people, cinema has been and will always be a significant part of my life.
